Rock Climbing

Rock climb in the Todra Gorge — one of the finest sport climbing destinations in the world and Morocco’s most celebrated climbing area. The gorge walls rise 300 metres from a narrow canyon floor, offering routes ranging from beginner-friendly single-pitch climbs to serious multi-pitch routes on limestone that challenges experienced climbers from across Europe and beyond. Over 150 bolted routes are available in the gorge alone. The Dades Gorge, the Tafraoute region in the Anti-Atlas and the Haut Atlas offer additional climbing areas of extraordinary quality. Equipment rental and local guides are available at Todra. Best season: September to May. A world-class destination almost entirely unknown outside the climbing community.
