Merzouga
Merzouga is a town in the Sahara Desert in Morocco, on the edge of Erg Chebbi, a 50-km long and 5-km wide arrangement of sand ridges that compass up to 350 m over the plain and 808 m above ocean level.
Most guests come here to bring a camel safari into the rises, and to experience remote (yet positively the travel industry impacted) Berber life.
The nearby populace is blended of Arabs and Berber, which are commonly inviting and well disposed. Albeit particularly in and around Merzouga unmistakably more than expected individuals will show a touting conduct and attempt you to offer a visit or a spot to remain.
When all is said in done, it should be recollected that the rises scarcely present a legitimate Moroccan scene. Numerous travelers come here, ride the camel and bring pictures back home, this is what the desert resembles south. In any case, riding a camel through the hills and remaining in a tent there is nothing genuine about it—it is a touristy veneer. Having said that the area is in any case lovely and fascinating, and even the standard stony desert is dazzling in itself.
