Tangier Tours — Where Africa Meets Europe
Tangier is unlike any other city in Morocco. Perched at the tip of Africa with Spain visible just 14km across the Strait of Gibraltar, it has spent centuries as an international zone — home to artists, writers, diplomats and traders from every corner of the world. The result is a city with its own particular energy: cosmopolitan, literary and endlessly surprising.
What to See in Tangier
The Kasbah Museum sits at the highest point of the medina with panoramic views over the strait. The Grand Socco and Petit Socco are the twin hearts of the old city. The Caves of Hercules, 14km from the city, are one of Morocco’s most visited natural sites — a coastal sea cave system where the Atlantic pours through a shape said to resemble the map of Africa. Cap Spartel, the most northwestern point of continental Africa, is a short drive away.
