Medina Souk Tour

Navigate the labyrinthine souks of Morocco’s great medinas with a specialist local guide who knows every alley, every craftsman and every hidden courtyard. The souks of Marrakech, Fès and Meknes are divided by trade — copper and brass in one quarter, leather in another, spices, textiles, ceramics, woodwork and silver each occupying their own ancient territory. A guided souk tour reveals the craftsmen behind the products: watch a coppersmith hammer a tray, a weaver work a loom, a leatherworker shape a babouche slipper from raw hide. The Fès medina alone contains over 9,000 streets and is the largest car-free urban area in the world. Without a guide, it is genuinely disorienting.
