Hike to the waterfalls of Morocco — from the dramatic 110-metre Ouzoud Falls northeast of Marrakech to the Setti Fatma cascades in the Ourika Valley. Ouzoud is Morocco’s most spectacular natural attraction: three separate falls drop into a lush gorge populated by wild Barbary macaques, with terrace restaurants overlooking the whole scene. Setti Fatma offers a more active hike through terraced gardens and cedar forest to reach a series of seven waterfalls. The Cascades d’Oum Rabia in the Middle Atlas and the Imlil waterfalls above the Toubkal valleys provide further options. Best visited in spring (March–May) when water levels are highest after winter rains.
