🌅 Day 1: Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou to Ouarzazate to Dades Valley

High Atlas crossing and UNESCO kasbah

Depart from your Marrakech hotel at 9:00 AM in a private vehicle. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m), the highest point of the High Atlas Mountains, with stunning views of the Berber villages below. Your first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village famous for its role in many films. Explore the ksar and enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Ouarzazate (optional visit to Atlas Film Studios). Drive to the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Arrive at your guesthouse by 5:00 PM.

🌅 Day 2: Dades Valley to Todra Gorge to Merzouga

Canyon exploration and Sahara desert adventure

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Dades Valley to the Todra Gorge. This stunning canyon, with its towering rock walls, is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. Explore the gorge on foot (30-45 min). After lunch at a local restaurant, continue your journey to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch the sunset from the top of a dune. Overnight in a Bedouin camp with dinner and traditional music.

🌅 Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech via Draa Valley & Ouarzazate

Sunrise over dunes and return to Marrakech

Wake up before dawn to catch the sunrise over the dunes — a truly magical experience. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel and depart for Marrakech. Drive through the Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Stop in Ouarzazate for lunch and visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Continue through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Arrive in Marrakech by 6:00 PM.
