🌅 Day 1: Marrakech to Imlil & Trek to Base Camp

Drive to Imlil & ascend to Toubkal Refuge

Depart from Marrakech at 8:00 AM and drive to Imlil (1,740m), the main trekking hub for Toubkal. Meet your local Berber guide and mule team. Begin your trek through terraced fields and traditional Amazigh (Berber) villages. Pass through Arremd village and continue to the Sidi Chamarouch shrine. After lunch at a mountain refuge, continue your ascent to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m). Trek time: 5-6 hours. Overnight in the mountain refuge with dinner.

🌅 Day 2: Summit Day – Toubkal Peak (4,167m)

Early start for the summit & return to refuge

Early morning start (5:00 AM) with a light breakfast. Begin the final ascent to the summit with your guide. The route follows a well-defined path up the south cirque, then along the western crest. Reach the summit of Jebel Toubkal (4,167m) — the highest peak in North Africa! Enjoy panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and, on clear days, as far as the Sahara Desert. Trek time: 6-8 hours round trip. Return to the refuge for celebration and rest.

🌅 Day 3: Descend to Imlil & Return to Marrakech

Downhill trek & cultural immersion

After breakfast, begin your descent back to Imlil. Take a different route to enjoy new views of the valley and visit more Berber villages. Stop for lunch at a local home to experience authentic Berber hospitality. Trek time: 3-4 hours. Upon arrival in Imlil, transfer back to Marrakech. Arrive by 5:00 PM.
