🌅 Day 1: Marrakech to Imlil to Tizi Mzik Pass to Azib Tikert

Begin the trek and cross the first mountain pass

Depart from Marrakech at 8:00 AM and drive to Imlil (1,740m), the main trekking hub for the High Atlas. Meet your local Berber guide and mule team. Begin your trek through terraced fields and traditional Amazigh (Berber) villages. Ascend to the Tizi Mzik Pass (2,489m), offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Descend to the village of Azib Tikert for your first overnight in a traditional Berber guesthouse.

🌅 Day 2: Azib Tikert to Tizi n’Aguelzim Pass to Aremd Village

Cross the highest pass and visit traditional villages

After breakfast, continue your trek through scenic mountain landscapes. Ascend to the Tizi n’Aguelzim Pass (3,500m), the highest point of your trek, with panoramic views of the High Atlas range. Descend through terraced fields to the traditional village of Aremd. Visit local homes and experience authentic Berber hospitality. Overnight in a family-run guesthouse.

🌅 Day 3: Aremd Village to Imlil to Marrakech

Explore Berber culture and return to civilization

After breakfast, spend the morning exploring Aremd village and its surrounding terraced fields. Visit the local marabout (saint’s tomb) and learn about traditional Berber agricultural practices. Begin your descent back to Imlil, where you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer back to Marrakech. Arrive by 5:00 PM.
